'Life moves pretty fast. If you don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.'
This month, Kiss & Make Up proudly invites you to Electric Youth, a spectacular of 80s music, music that sounds like it's from the 80s, and an 80s-themed buffet of sausages on sticks, black forest gateau, Frazzles, cola bottles and anything else we can get our hands on. Expect a can't-sit-down playlist featuring the likes of Madonna, Prince, Stone Roses, New Order, Queen, Jane Wiedlin, David Bowie, Kylie, The Cure, Blondie, Michael Jackson, Duran Duran, Guns 'n' Roses, The Smiths, Pet Shop Boys, Neneh Cherry, Run DMC, Kiss, A-ha, Public Enemy, The Pixies, Huey Lewis, Falco and The Loggins.
Plus there'll be the usual Kiss & Make Up comforts of a friendly atmosphere, quiz machine, pre-dancing games of pool and comfy sofas. We'll be there from 8pm-1am (ish), and it's FREE to get in – have a drink, have a dance and still catch the last tube home. It's a night out at 80s prices!
Find us at the Vauxhall Griffin, 8 Wyvil Road, London SW8 2TH – just five minutes' walk from Vauxhall tube, which is a tiny 10-minute tube ride from Oxford circus on the Victoria line.
Roll up the sleeves of your jacket, dry your damp patches under the hand-drier, put on your red shoes and dance the blues away. It's a bank holiday weekend!
We really hope to see you there.
